On the occasion of
Maula's Milad,
Cricket team came from India's Bilad.
Three one dayers were played in three days,
There was entertainment in many ways.
Indians dressed in blue did start
well,
In all departments they did excel.
Pakistanis in green were also good,
Matches were played in excellent mood.
Shahzada Ammar Bhaisaheb was the
prime guest,
In his presence Indians put up their very best.
Talent in both the teams indeed did shine,
Throughout the tournament spirits were fine.
In first two matches Indians were
men of the match,
Pakistanis seemed to have struck a bad patch.
In the last match they had to do or die,
Their heroics resulted in a grand tie.
To the organizers, players and umpire
thanks are due,
Managers-cum-coaches like Shaikh Shabbir are indeed
few.
Saadat Kiraam, for having come, this match to view,
All of us, specially Faiz-e-Hakimi,
are grateful to you.
This series being the very first
of its kind,
Little organizational slips, one did not mind.
But our two countries, in close ties to bind,
Such sporting methods we must try to find.
In humility to Allah Subhanuhu we
bow,
And pray that to our Maula, He may endow.
Life till Roz-e-Qiyamat with happiness and health,
Which are indeed mumin's greatest wealth.
