Karachi - May 29, 2004 : Aqa Maula , Dr. Syedna Mohammed Burhanuddin Saheb TUS arrived in Karachi by PIA special flight at 6:31 pm. at Jinnah International Airport. The Governor of Sindh, Mr. Ishrat-ul-Ibad and Nazim of Karachi, Mr. Naimatullah Khan came to receive Maula TUS. Mr. Aijaz-ul-Haq, Minister of Religious Affairs accompanied him from Islamabad. Chief Minister and other dignitaries were also present at the Airport to welcome.

At 6:48 pm. Maula TUS proceeded to VIP Lounge to have an exchange of views with Governor and other dignitaries. Maula TUS prayed Maghrib-Isha Namaaz there and proceeded to National Stadium.

With a motorcycle escort, at 7:49 pm. Huzur-e-Alaa TUS reached National Stadium where a grand reception was arranged by Faiz-e-Hakimi, Karachi Dawoodi Bohra Jamaat. A tremendous cheer went up in the energetic crowd of about 40,000 mumineen as Maula TUS's car entered into the stadium premises to the magnificently adorned stage which was specially erected for this occasion. Governor SIndh, Chief Minister, Consul Generals, City Government Officials, dignitaries, members of the business community and the elite of the city shook hands and welcomed Aqa Maula TUS warmly.

Huzur-e-Alaa TUS then ascended the stage and the program initiated with the reverential recitation of the Holy Quran by Shahzada Hussain Bhaisaheb Bin Shahzada Mufaddal Bhaisaheb Saifuddin Saheb DM. An exquisitely designed card regarding the evening program was presented to Aqa Maula TUS and then the stadium resounded with the sound of an Arabic verses, which was a Naat by Students of Jamea-tus-Saifiyah. Afterward young children, from the madressah of each DawoodiBohra Mohallahs, dressed in colorful clothes, presented Maula TUS a total of 15 ornate bouquets. After another 'Nazm' by children a member of the Karachi DawoodiBohra Jamaat made a welcome speech.

Governor was than invited at the dice to have a few words, in his short speech he thanked and welcomed Aqa Maula TUS for choosing Karachi for the 93rd Salgirah Celebration and requested to mark the 100th Birthday in Karachi again. He praised the efforts made by DawoodiBohra in the field of education and healthcare.

Aqa Maula TUS recited the few words of prayers and poignantly expressed how pleases he was among his "dost and deeni farzando" after a period of four long years. Aqa Maula TUS did his whole speech in urdu. He emphasized on the importance of education. He stressed to eradicate the religious contradiction for the peace and harmony in the country. In the end he prayed for the success and prosperity of Pakistan.

The evening ended with Aqa Maula TUS being driven round the stadium in an open jeep decorated with fresh flowers. The crowd was ecstatic as they finally got a close glimpse of their leader and the smile on Aqa Maula TUS's Chehra-e-Anwar reflected his joy at being in the presence of his spiritual children in Karachi.
